Points Haul At Snetterton

Round 2 of British GT was held at snettterton. Dean and partner Callum entered this round at the top of the drivers Championship and was hoping to maintain that throughout the weekend.

It started well with qualifying after Dean would qualify 3rd in his group and Callum 4th in his. Just what the pair needed to kick off the weekend.

Race 1 was definitely exciting and was never a dull moment. Callum would come in to hand over the car in 4th position but a slip up in the pits would mean the pair would loose out and come out in 9th position. Immediately after leaving the pits Dean would set the fastest lap of the race lapping nearly 5 tenths quicker than anyone at this point. The impressive pace from the car would mean Dean would climb back up the order into 4th position, less than 1 second of the final podium spot.

Race 2 proved to be more of the same after a strong start from Dean as he moved from 3rd to 2nd and managed to pull out a healthy gap on other cars behind. It was now time to hand the car over to teammate Callum but after another slip up in the pits the car had to serve a 2 second stop go penalty, which added up to a 23 second time loss for the pair. Nonetheless Callum put in a great stint to climb back to the final podium spot and the pair managed to extend their championship lead !

A weekend that could have been a lot more !
