Round 1 of the European GT4 was held at Monza Italy and it was Deans first time there also.
With an impressive grid of 47 cars competing in Deans class and one of the biggest grids in the championships history it was always going to be highly competitive.

After Qualifying Deans teammate drove in Q1 and finished P9 after getting caught up in traffic but had the pace to be on the front 2 rows. Dean drive in Q2 where he would end up on Pole position.

Dean and his teammate managed to fight from P9 to P3 in race one showing the pace that they and the team knew they had.
Race 2 saw Dean start Pole but an unfortunate incident at the start saw him drop down to 5th by the first corner but managed to fight his way back to second, after a penalty in the pit stops the pair dropped down the order again but eventually coming home in an impressive 5th position considering the circumstances.

A lot of points in the bag for the Championship and is only the first race weekend.

Next up is Paul Ricard, France
